  We stayed in the off season and there were lots of sites to choose from, but some were wet/had poor drainage. It was a great start and stop location for the Cabot Trail. The owners are very friendly and obviously take great pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the campground and pool. Free WiFi, clean bathrooms and hot showers. Tent sites are pretty close together in spots. I recommend buying wood before going, as it was damp and over priced for what we received.

  Great stop on our way to the Cabot trail! After learning there was little vacancy at the National Parks the night we were coming in we decided to book a cabin. Cabin 7 had two double beds, fridge, microwave and two stools. Your own bedding is required. Firewood can be bought at the office and after hours if you need more there is a honour system to buy more. Bathrooms were clean, showers free and the staff was extremely helpful answering any questions we had.

  Great location for access to the Cabot trail. The bugs are bad in early July but the location was great with a nice little lake on site.

  P.S. We ended up leaving a day early due to my four-year-old being done camping and having a meltdown. When I told them at the office (so they would know our site was free for the night if they needed it) they refunded me part of the night's fee, which was not expected or required. Very nice of them!

  We booked in for a week and didn't know what to expect, but have been pleasantly surprised by this gem of a campground! Our spot is huge and very private with lots of trees. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained. The only thing I would say needs improvement is that the playground is in desperate need of a modern upgrade. Very happy we chose to stay here and would come back in a heartbeat!

  Great "jump off" place for the Cabot Trail, noted several campers left their toy haulers and did the trail on their motorcycles. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Comfort stations immaculate. Found some of the Elecric + Water campsites a little close together but just fine for a couple of days. A roof leak developed on our travel trailer so I went to the office and asked if I could borrow a ladder. Within 15 minutes a maintenance guy showed up with one and told me to take my time doing the repair. I was able to go into Baddeck, pick up some materials and make a repair that got us through the rest of our vacation. Thank you to all the staff at Baddeck Campground for your help and kindness.
